iPhone 6 is Expected in Two Screen Sizes
Apple has announced the global launch of iPhone 6 in September this year. Unlike the previous 4 inch screen sized iPhone, the upcoming gadget will come in two screen sizes, 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch. The bigger sized screens will be equipped with higher resolution liquid crystal display which Apple has already ordered from Sharp (Japan Display) and LG (South Korea Display). As per Taiwan’s Commercial Times, a semiconductor manufacturing company in Taiwan has already begun the manufacturing of chips for iPhone 6.
The Apple iPhone 6 is expected to come with a thinner body, a higher version of processor and an enhanced pixel density screen. The Taiwan Semiconductor Co. along with Samsung is most probably preparing the A-series ‘Apple A8’ chips (2.6GHz) for the US mobile giant.
Leaked info reveals that the Apple iPhone 6 will be equipped with an Ultra-Retina display and a pixel density of 389ppi. While some are expecting the upcoming gadget to be 0.22 inch thick, some are guessing it to own a bezel-less display, a big 8 megapixel camera with aperture size of f/2.0. iPhone 6 will run iOS 8 and its exact launch date and price in India is yet to be confirmed.
